      Jeff Nissenbaum has been a professional drumset player for over thirty years.  Since childhood he  has continued studies of harmony and music theory, piano, violin, acoustic guitar, and drum set, and is now specializing in bass guitar performance.

      Jeff's approach is aimed at working with students to achieve their musical objectives.  Every student, whether adult or youth, has their own unique goals, musical preferences and background.  In a supportive and encouraging environment, Jeff responds to each individual's needs with a result-oriented variety of proven teaching techniques, including the utilization of music selected by the student, which may be incorporated within lessons.

I am currently  [November/December 2022]  accepting new students of bass guitar.  I DO HOUSE CALLS in Western Massachusetts:  In Amherst, Northampton, and the surrounding area [currently lessons  are via ONLINE video conferencing and available to anyone with a suitable internet connection].  Lessons are also offered by special arrangement in my home studio located in the north part of Sunderland.  CONVENIENT, FUN, AND EFFECTIVE.

I have over 20 years of teaching experience and 30 years performing and recording experience.  References are available on request.
